Fans get up and dance to the music of Southbound Pilot, one of the acts during 39th Annual Tucson Folk Festival in 2024.

April is coming in hot — both in weather and events.

Here's what to expect this month: the return of festivals like Agave Heritage, Tucson Folk Festival, Tucson International Mariachi Conference, Cyclovia and the Pima County Fair. A highlight from this year’s Arizona International Film Festival includes a screening of “Long Shadows” at Fox Tucson Theatre on April 6.

Arizona International Film Festival

The 33rd Arizona International Film Festival will include 24 features and 70 shorts from 19 countries. Throughout its years, this festival has exhibited more than 3,400 films representing 100 countries.

First Thursday at TMA
