That super cheap dorm sale is happening again, here's what you need to know

Tucson's favorite rummage sale is back.

You know the one we're talking about, right? The college-student garage sale of our dreams? Piles of barely-used stuff left behind by UA students?

Last year, everything sold out in three hours, when the sale was supposed to last two days. It was impossible to find parking and the wait to get in was a couple hours.

It's coming back on July 29 at 3740 E. 34th St. but we're telling you about it now because thousands of people have already expressed interest on the Facebook event page.

Here's everything you need to know

1. The sale is only one day this year. That means you get one shot to buy supplies for your dorm room or office. It's the perfect place to get some last-minute items for a low price.

2. GET THERE EARLY. Seriously. If you went last year, you know it was busier than Christmas at Disneyland. You don't want to be turned away because you got there an hour into the event.

3. There's about three times more stuff for sale. They've got more fridges, microwaves, fans, mirrors, coffee makers, furniture, school supplies, clothing, bedding, and TVs than last year — thanks to the work put into this year's Dodge the Dumpster project, which keeps dorm room items out of the garbage.

4. It's still cheap. Like super cheap, we're talking as cheap as a $1 with most things ranging from $5 to $40.

5. They do not accept cash. Credit cards (Visa, Master Card, or American Express) and personal checks are accepted (with a valid ID).

6. Sign up for the sale before the sale. This is required. First, print out this form. Then you fill it out and either scan and send to uaauctions@fso.arizona.edu, fax it to 520-626-8816 or drop it off in person at the surplus store.
