Cox Movies in the Park are shown on Fridays in the DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center, 900 S. Randolph Way.

Actually it is May and that means lots of things: Mother's Day, Memorial Day, THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL and another list of things to do that can (almost) fill up the whole month.

This a little snapshot of what's happening this month but come back every week to check out what else is happening over the weekend.

MOTHER'S (EVERY)DAY

Free First Saturday Mother's Day Activity

Experience the magic of Valley of the Moon with your kids. It's free and there will be plenty of Mother's Day activities and historical tours.

Take your mom to have a wild time

Start with brunch (and mimosas!), then take a stroll through the Reid Park Zoo and watch animal mamas get a treat.

Yoga with mom for mom

Barefoot Studio is giving moms a free yoga class on their special day. Everyone else has to pay $12 for a single class.

Paint and eat muffins with mom

Make a special mug for your mom with your mom.

Eat all the melty foods

Get the family together for dinner at The Melting Pot. Moms get a MOMosa, a carnation and an option for one free entree.

The Lego Batman Movie on the UA Mall

It's warm enough to watch movies outdoors now. Take your kiddos to see The Lego Batman Movie under the stars. Bring something to sit on and something to munch on.

Cinema La Placita at TMA

Cinema La Placita kicks off the season with a new location and "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" Don't forget cash to pay the admission.

"Wall-E" in the Park

SAACA's Movies in the Park are back with movies, food trucks and fun! Don't forget to bring something to sit on and some cash for food. The season starts with "Wall-E".

"Clueless" at The Loft

Saguaro Market

The hip monthly market is open again for your shopping needs. Get what you need or just check it out because it won't be open in June.
