Hundreds of artists will make a pit stop in Tucson this weekend for the biannual Fourth Avenue Street Fair.
The historic avenue will be lined with white tents as artists from across the globe bring their wind chimes, metal yard art and tie-dye apparel to Tucson from Friday-Sunday, March 21-23. The street fair runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and closes an hour early at 5 p.m. on Sunday along North Fourth Avenue from University Boulevard to Eighth Street.
While many of the 350-plus vendors participating in the fair are from outside of Tucson, you'll still have the chance to shop from local vendors along the main strip of the street fair. The Solar Lot near Sky Bar and Konbini Event Space will also host local vendors including Coven of Snails, A Touch of Magic Bakery, Bad Sissy Crochet, Ducky's Pineapple Banana Bread, Sui Gen Femme and Luna Zen.
Beyond the art, you can stop by 40 food vendors selling giant baby bottles of lemonade, cheesecake on a stick and mountains of curly fries. Two stages will boast all-day live performances from artists like Lizzie, Compania de Danza Folklorica Arizona, Znora and ZeeCeeKeely.
New this year is a collaboration with Silent Adventures, which typically combines a silent disco with a flash mob vibe. Silent Adventures will host a stationary silent disco from 3-6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Interested attendees should check in at the Antigone Books parking lot, 411 N. Fourth Ave. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.

Sebastian shops for a new collar inside of the Greyt Escape Collars booth during the 55th annual Spring Fourth Avenue Street fair, North Fourth Avenue, March 22, 2024.
Not sure where to park? Try garages, lots and meters in the downtown and University of Arizona area, including the Plaza Centro Garage and the Tyndall Avenue Garage. If you park farther, you can take a free ride on the streetcar to get to the fair.
The Fourth Avenue Merchants Association, who organizes the street fair, has also teamed up with Limoport Transportation to provide a complimentary shuttle for attendees.
The shuttle runs every 15 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday and until 4:30 p.m. Sunday. It stops at the northwest corner of Pennington Street and Sixth Avenue near the Pennington Street Garage.
