Procession of Little Angels 2017

The yearly event celebrates deceased loved ones from the perspective of a child. You'll find a children's altar, crafts, face painting, performances and a procession around Armory Park, across the street from the Children's Museum Tucson. Community members are welcome to bring photographs or remembrances of children to place on the children's altar.

All Souls Procession 2017
The 28th annual All Souls Procession, which attracts about 100,000 people — is a sanctuary for community members from all walks of life to express their grief and loss in a celebration of creative energy and rejoicing of life. Dress up, get out of your regular regimen and persona: make a mask, a puppet, an art installation, an altar, some way of honoring those who have gone before.
Where: The procession has a new route along the Santa Cruz this year. Find it here. It will begin at Grande and Speedway.

Dogtoberfest for Handi-Dogs

Thanksgiving Cross-Country Classic
You'll fell less guilty eating Thanksgiving dinner after you create a caloric deficit hurdling hay bales and jumping over water at this cross country race. Men and women race separately for the 5K. There's also a co-ed a 1.5-mile fun run option. Prizes include turkeys and pumpkin pies. Free swag includes a t-shirt to commemorate the day. All fun-run/walk participants will receive a finisher's ribbon.
