We've got you covered with trunk-or-treats, festivals and trick-or-treat events the kids will love.
So, dress up and go out. Don't worry. These are all family-friendly events, with scares reserved for the big kids.
Festivals and trick-or-treat events
Non-scary Halloween carnival fun for the family at the Pima Air and Space Museum. Dress up and go trick-or-treating, ride ponies, get temporary tattoos, fish for prizes, win a treat in the baked good walk and play Eyeball Mini-Putt-Putt and Mummy Bowling.
Halloween themed dinners will be available for purchase in the "Fright Grill" and the main hangar will be open for viewing under ghoulish lights.

Meet your favorite superheroes, pirates, princesses and wizards inspired by great books and movies. Stroll the zoo, listen to music and play old fashioned games.
Different areas have different themes such as "Walk like an Egyptian," "Pirates of the Scareibbean," "Ghoulish Graveyard," photos with Elsa in a winter wonderland, Rancho Sahuarita's Fall Festival Zone with a hay maze and more.
New this year is a Scary Loop at the Conservation Learning Center for kids ages 12 and over.

Get in the spirit of Halloween at Reid Park Zoo.
Trick-or-treat at the Oro Valley Community Center's decorated "Candy Cart Lane" and meet Star Wars celebs Kylo Ren and R2D2. Plus, there are hayrides and themed activities.

Spooktacular Science at Flandrau
There will be tricks and treats like slippery slime, squid dissections, spooky arts and crafts, chemistry curiosities and a Halloween laser show.
Arrive in costume for the chance to win a free family membership, a $105 value.
When: Sunday, Oct. 30, Noon to 5 p.m.; Laser show times are noon and 4 p.m.

Cost: $4; $4 laser shows
Free entertainment, including a magic show, trick-or-treating, costume contests, games and kindness activities throughout Trail Dust Town and Golf 'N Stuff.
Purchase an optional wristband for $12 to benefit Ben's Bells and get one time admission to Trail Dust Town attractions, including a Wild West stunt show and one round of golf and tokens at Golf 'N Stuff.

Fourth Avenue Spooky Kids Halloween & Wag-O-Ween
Trick-or-treating at participating merchants will take place on Fourth Avenue between University Boulevard and Ninth Street.
There will also be a costume contest for kids and dogs at 6 p.m. in the Creative Ventures Parking lot at 522 N. Fourth Ave. Every child contestant will receive a free goody bag.
New this year is Wag-O-Ween for your four legged children, sponsored by Rosie's Barket. That means your pup will get treats too!

Kids trick-or-treat along North Fourth Ave. at last year’s Spooky Kids Halloween Costume Contest.
Fountain of Life Lutheran Church is holding a fall festival, which includes a chili and pie competition.
There will also be free food, free games with prizes, live music and entertainment, jumping castles and tattoos for the kids.
Each person will get two free food tickets, good for a hot dog and chips. Additional tickets are available for $0.50 each. You'll also receive eight free game tickets. Additional tickets are available for eight for $1.

Teens in 7th through 12th grade are invited to enter a costume party, watch spooky film clips and decorate a Halloween-themed treat. Also, watch out for zombies.

Racers, track crews and other businesses will hand out candy to your little ghosts, ghouls and goblins.

2nd Annual Trunk-Or-Treat and car show
Not only will the kids get candy and other treats, they can participate in a costume contest, dance to music spun by a DJ, look at cool cars, play games and jump in a jumping castle.

Trunk-or-Treat at the Shrine
Safe, fun, Halloween experience to be had by all.

Get candy and bounce all of that energy out in two bouncy houses and an inflatable slide. Games and freebies will be provided by 14 businesses. No pets allowed. Food will be available for purchase from Twin Peaks Pizza, Angela's Mexican Restaurant, The Coffee Company and Lucky's Boba Tea.
