Tucson Jazz Festival

A couple dances during the Tucson Jazz Festival.

After a cold week and a dash of snow, it looks like the weekend is set to bring a little bit of warmth and sunshine to Tucson.

Here's what's going on: the Tucson Jazz Festival kicks off and the Zoppé Circus is back in town. Celebrate Japanese New Year at Yume Japanese Gardens, sing along to all your Bowie favorites at Surly Wench and explore the Tucson Museum of Art for pay-what-you-wish admission.

Zoppé Family Circus

Zoppé Family Circus, featuring Nino the Clown and a cast of seven generations of Zoppés, is back in Tucson this winter. Expect acrobatic acts, a trapeze artist, a ringmaster and more. The circus has been a January tradition in Tucson since 2011.

When: Now through Jan. 21

Discovery Nights at Children's Museum Tucson

Japanese New Year Festival 2024

Celebrate the Year of the Dragon at Yume Japanese Gardens of Tucson. Watch live performances, enjoy Japanese food and see the annual mochitsuki ritual, which is the pounding of rice to make mochi.
