- Two Men and a Truck: The franchises delivered donated items to Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse in honor of Motherâs Day. Two Men and a Truck was started by a mom, Mary Ellen Sheets, and her two sons, Brig and Jon. The company is the driving force behind the charity Movers for Moms. Each spring, franchises partner with local organizations to set up collection sites, where people are encouraged to bring items that are delivered to shelters by moving teams. Movers for Moms provide local shelters like Emerge with pajama sets, toiletries, diapers, cleaning supplies and other items. âWeâre so grateful to Two Men and a Truck for organizing the Movers for Moms in-kind donation drive,â said Emerge CEO Ed Mercurio-Sakwa.
