Ooh, we got it! Add milky ice cream to the fruity slush, and you've got the ultimate summer power couple. During the month of May, local sandwich chain Eegee's will sell you a cup of ice cream for 75 cents when you get the flavor of the month, Orange Dream.
The Orange Dreamsicle is part of their "Mix to the Match" campaign, which has also included the soda drink Eegee's Fizz and the iced tea Teagee's. (Never fear, you can still get those too!)
"We did some sampling throughout Tucson yesterday and customer feedback was fantastic," says Marketing Director Robert Santiago. "Many customers told us they already mix ice cream with their Eegee’s at home, and others were reminded of the orange creamsicle popsicles from their childhood."
