To make a Christmas wreath you will need some greenery. You can get plastic pine branches from a craft store or use something live. We cut some from the pine tree in a colleague's back yard and some from another tree.

Then we painted the pine cones gold with a gold Krylon spray paint. Do this outside or in a well-ventilated area. Wear gloves so you can turn the cones and spray all sides.

We tucked our greenery into the form and used a glue gun to secure the pieces.

We purchased plastic holly berries and add some color to the wreath and attached them the same way as the greenery, securing with a glue gun.
