A 17-year-old was arrested Monday after police say he had a gun at Tucson High Magnet School, police say.
Officers were called to the school principal's office about 1:30 p.m. after school staff reported finding the gun, Tucson police say.
The 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of carrying a weapon on school grounds and being a minor in possession of a weapon, police said.
He was taken to the Pima County Juvenile Detention Center, police said.
