Oro Valley police on Wednesday warned residents of a mountain lion sighting.
The lion was reportedly seen near North Oracle Road and East Linda Vista Boulevard. No time for the sighting was provided.
The warning posted on social media told hikers in the area to "be aware of your surroundings."
It also said a nearby school was aware of the sighting and had taken precautions to protect students.
