Investigators are not ruling out the possibility that more than one person was involved in Nancy Guthrie's abduction, as they also seek information to identify the man seen on doorbell surveillance video at her house, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said Friday afternoon.
The FBI has said the man seen on the surveillance video at Guthrie's home the night she went missing is 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10 tall with an average build. He was wearing a black 25-liter Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack, as well as a ski mask and a holster with a gun.
Guthrie, 84, a retired communications professional and the mother of NBC "Today" co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, has been missing from her home near North Campbell Avenue and East Skyline Drive since Feb. 1.
In Friday afternoon's news release, the Sheriff's Department also said:
Neighbors have submitted surveillance video from the area that is being reviewed by investigators.
"DNA analysis is underway on biological evidence recovered during the investigation. This process can be lengthy. There is no additional information available at this time."
