Savannah Guthrie, in a new social media post Tuesday, acknowledged that her mother might be dead as the investigation continues into a third week and offered a $1 million reward from the family for information that leads to her return or recovery.

"I'm coming on to say it is Day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark of night from her bed, and every long night has been agony since then of worrying about her, and fearing for her, aching for her — and most of all, just missing her," Guthrie says about the days since Nancy Guthrie, 84, disappeared from Tucson home on Feb. 1.

"We still believe. We still believe in a miracle. We still believe that she can come home," Guthrie said after asking for continued prayers for her mother. "Hope against hope, as my sister says, we are blowing on the embers of hope."

"We also know that she may be lost. She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves, and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother Pierce and with our daddy," Guthrie continues. "And if this is what is to be, then we will accept it."

"But we need to know where she is. We need her to come home."

Guthrie then announced the $1 million family reward as well as a $500,000 donation to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Guthrie begged for anyone with information to come forward, even anonymously.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen by her family on Jan. 31 and was reported missing the next day.

Investigators say she was taken from her home against her will.

Surveillance video of a masked man outside Guthrie’s front door on the night she vanished has been shared.

Few clues have been shared by investigators, but thay have said drops of her blood were found on the front porch and that DNA evidence is being analyzed.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has also said that members of Guthrie’s family, including siblings and spouses, are not suspects.

"Help us bring our beloved mom home so that we can either celebrate a glorious, miraculous homecoming or celebrate the beautiful, brave and courageous and noble life that she has lived," Guthrie said on Tuesday.

"Please be the light in the dark."
