An arrest has been made in the shooting of a federal agent in Tucson, the FBI confirmed Thursday.

"The FBI has taken an individual has been taken into custody" in connection to the Oct. 17 shootingย of a federal agent outside of a convenience store, aย spokeswoman for the agency confirmed Thursday in an email.

No details were provided.

The case has been referred to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Arizona, the FBI says.

The shooting occurred about 7:45 p.m. in the parking lot of a convenience store near East 29th Street and South Columbus Boulevard. In it, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent was shot in the arm by someone in a passing car. The agent was struck in the arm and was treated and released from a hospital, the agency previously said.

Security video ย of that night shows a dark four-door sedan driving through the parking lot before it stops, and several gunshots can be heard.

A $10,000 reward was offered by the FBI soon after the shooting for any "information leading to the location, identification, and arrest" the suspect(s).
