A 22-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday at a house party in South Tucson, authorities said.

The shooting happened about 12:40 a.m. at a house in the 100 block of East 30th Street, just east of South Sixth Avenue, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release. The department was asked by South Tucson police to assist in the investigation.

The unidentified man died at the scene.

A second person, also an unidentified man, was shot and wounded in the incident. That person was treated and released from the hospital, the release said.

No information about a motive nor details about events leading to the shooting have been released.
