A 49-year-old man shot in November in midtown Tucson has died, Tucson police say.

James Anthony Fraccaro was found wounded about 8:30 a.m. Nov. 23, on East 22nd Street just eat of South Tucson Boulevard, Tucson police said Wednesday in a news release.

Fraccaro died Sunday at the hospital, police said.

Police were called to the area for a report of disorderly conduct, the release said.

The initial probe involved the search of a nearby smoke shop, but police did not disclose in the news release how it might have been a factor in the shooting.

Police continue to investigate.
