A recent University of Arizona graduate, who was among the missing in the chaotic aftermath of the massacre in Las Vegas, has died, according to NBC News Los Angeles.
Christiana Duarte earned her bachelor's degree in business marketing from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management in May. She was reported as missing yesterday after attending the concert. Her friends and family were holding out hope that she had been injured yesterday, as they posted to social media asking for help securing information.
But today several California news stations are reporting Duarte’s family said she passed away.
Duarte had recently started a job with the Los Angeles Kings hockey team and moved back to southern California, where she was raised.
