A traditional Chinese pharmacy, started in Tucson, is under new ownership and in a new space.
Yong Sheng Herbs leased 1,307 square feet of retail space at 2637 E. Broadway from Sol Block LLC.
Alex Demeroutis, formerly with Picor, now with CBRE, represented the tenant. Jeff Ell, with Ambrell Realty, and Isaac Figueroa, with Larsen Baker, represented the landlord.
Yong Sheng Herbs was founded in 1996 in Tucson by Hui Ling Jiang and her husband, Guan.
Yong Sheng Herbs will open its new location this spring.
The store carries traditional Chinese medicines and has been a source of education for many customers learning about alternative remedies.
When the couple retired in 2025, the store was taken over by Kelly LeGendre, an acupuncturist and an herbalist in traditional Chinese medicine.
The new location is expected to open in April.
