The First Christian Church hosted an Ashes-to-Go drive-thru event in the parking lot on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026. The message of the day is to remind people that humans are imperfect and that God's grace and forgiveness is always offered. Ash Wednesday signifies the start of Lent.
