A cold front moving into the area will result in breezy conditions through Tuesday, the forecast shows.
Some wind gusts were anticipated to reach 28 mph Monday in the Tucson area and up to 40 mph in other areas of Southeast Arizona, the weather service said.
The high temperature on a mostly sunny Tuesday in Tucson was expected to be about 72 degrees.
New Year's Eve is expected to be mostly cloudy with a high temperature near 76. There's a chance of showers beginning late Wednesday night, the National Weather Service in Tucson said.
Rain is also expected here on New Year's Day. The high temperature will be near 70.
