Every time we curate our big ol' list of events for the month, we ask the same thing: how did we get here? What do you mean Thanksgiving is over and December is in two days?!
Time is FLYING BY and now we're into the last month of the year. That means tree lightings, holiday light shows, artisan markets and the return of December favorites like the Tamal Festival, Downtown Parade of Lights and Winterhaven. December also brings an anime festival, free and cheap movie screenings and the Fourth Avenue Street Fair.
Of course, things can change quickly these days. Check for the latest info before heading out!

Tucson Holiday Ice
Ring in the holiday season at Tucson's pop-up ice skating rink! Skates, which begin at size 8 for kids and go up to size 15 for men, are included in the admission price. Socks are required and gloves are recommended.

LightsUp! A Festival of Illumination
Kick off the holiday season with a stroll through the Tucson Botanical Gardens. There will be luminaria displays, 1 million twinkling lights and dancing sculptures among the gardens' six themed light areas.
