Giving back just got more fun thanks to Celebrate For Good, a local company aimed at fusing memorable experiences and philanthropy.
Celebrate For Good offers experiences like a pop-up concert in your living room, cooking classes and dinner parties. The price of your experience has a donation calculated in — 55 percent of what you pay for the party plus any extra donations go to a charity of your choice. Experiences range from $39 to $89 per person.
A 1950s-themed holiday party in a Winterhaven home is all booked now but it included: dinner and dessert made by a private chef, cocktails, classic holiday tunes on the record player, vintage decor and a thank-you note for your guests.
Celebrate for Good's owner, Alyssa Gallion, says her company solves a current problem: Millennials want to help their communities but don’t necessarily have the funds for it.

"If we can combine events and experiences with things we already want to do to enrich our lives and also give back, then that's solving the problem," she says.
Alyssa, 27, made all of this happen after her business partner gave her a company called Social DoGooder. With the help of Startup Tucson, friends, family and the community, she turned that company into Celebrate For Good.
Since launching in July, the company has partnered with the Ben’s Bells Project and local chef Riley Chandler.
Alyssa does the planning, the coordinating and decorating on her own with some help from Tucson freelancers. She also works another full-time job.
So, what's the secret to throwing the ultimate party?
Alyssa explained it by quoting Maya Angelou, "’I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.’"
