- University of Arizona: The UA was honored for its commitment to work-life integration for its employees. A total of 160 organizations from across the nation were chosen by WorldatWork, a nonprofit human resources association, to receive its 2017 Seal of Distinction. The honor is awarded to organizations that provide “a distinct mutually beneficial experience to their workforces as determined by the overall strength of their total rewards portfolio and success in creating positive work environments.”
- BroadPath Healthcare Solutions: Was ranked No. 23 on the FlexJobs Top 100 list of companies with remote jobs for 2017. To be considered, BroadPath had to offer telecommuting-friendly jobs allowing candidates to telecommute entirely or part-time. Last year, 96 percent of BroadPath’s employees worked at home. Headquartered in Tucson, BroadPath serves payers and providers in the healthcare industry.
- BAYADA Home Health Care Tucson: Received the 2017 Best of Home Care Provider of Choice Award from Home Care Pulse. This distinction ranks BAYADA among a select few home care providers across the country with proven ability to provide outstanding care.
- Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Casino Del Sol: Was recognized with a first-place honor for their Employee Tribal Cultural program at the Tribal Spirit of Giving Awards ceremony during Raving’s 19th annual Indian Gaming National Marketing Conference. The awards recognize tribal organizations and their history of generosity and support to their Native and non-Native communities.
- Salon Nouveau:
- SALON TODAY magazine named the Tucson business one of the top 200 salons in the country for 2017. Owned by Kathy Alexander since 2007, Salon Nouveau, at 2204 E. Fort Lowell Road, was honored for its business practices.
