Join the Sonoran Glass School, the Children's Museum and the Tucson Museum of Art for activities, art and ice cream at the annual ARTivity event.
This year's event is at the Sonoran Glass School, 633 W. 18th St.,Β and it's mostly free, but there are some activities that cost money (card is accepted but cash is preferred).
Churros El Rey will be there serving ice cream and churros. And while the kiddos are doing the activities, you can enjoy the live entertainment.Β

Children can make wacky portraits, collage, super-hero capes, and color for free.
These are the activities that cost money:
β’ Make a leaf stamp pendant for $10 (for children 10 and up).
β’ Make a pendant with your initials for $5 (for children 5 and up).
β’ Make colorful glass mosaic tiles for $5 (open to all ages).
β’ Children can also paint colorful planters for $3 (open to all ages).
β’Β Build and decorate a glowing paper lantern blowfish for $5 (open to all ages).Β
"It's a good chance to see three different educational organizations working together in the same space and each one bringing a different kind of vibe and take on their art activities," says Nick Letson, the associate director of Sonoran Glass School.
