  • Arizona Hearing Specialists: The Tucson audiology practice came together to support St. Andrew’s Children’s Clinic. The clinic is a nonprofit, nondenominational health-care clinic that provides free, specialized medical care to children living in Mexico who cannot obtain or afford the care they need in their home country. In addition to volunteering their time by providing medical care, members from Arizona Hearing Specialists’ three locations raised more than $1,200 and collected clothing, toys and nonperishable food items for children and families.
  • Dunkin’ Donuts: The Tucson franchisees and their teams from Dunkin’ Donuts locations across the city donated $12,500 to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. The donation is a grant through the Joy in Childhood Foundation, Dunkin’ Donuts national charitable foundation. They also volunteered to pack 24,000 pounds of food to feed 3,000 families in need.
  • Walmart:
  • The Walmart Foundation awarded a $25,000 grant to Tucson’s Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse. The funding will help support nutrition and life skills program for survivors of domestic violence. The grant will help provide healthy meals for the 50 to 60 domestic abuse survivors who are served each day through this program, as well as cover 50 percent of the shelter’s community liaison-nutrition/life skills position.
  • The Tractor Supply Co.: The Tucson store is donating 68 bags of pet food to feed dogs and cats in need of adoption. Tractor Supply presented the pet food donation to Camp Bow Wow. In addition to the pet food donation, Tucson Tractor Supply hosts pet adoption events throughout the year.
