- Foothills Club of Tucson:
- The nonprofit made up of more than 70 local business leaders has distributed over $19,000 in funds to youth groups in Southern Arizona since the beginning of the fiscal year in July. In the second-quarter giving cycle, the group donated $9,000 to the following charities: Neighbors for Justice, $2,000; Blair Charity Group, $2,000; Assistance League of Tucson, $1,500; Higher Ground Resource Center, $1,500; Southern Arizona Childrenβs Advocacy Center, $1,000; Rainbow Girls, $1,000.
- Hughes Federal Credit Union: Employees raised more than $15,000 for Childrenβs Miracle Network Hospitals and TMC for Children. The money was generated through two fundraisers and the sale of candy bars at local branches throughout the year. Hughes also took part in an annual radiothon in 2016.
