A 60-year-old man fatally struck by a car last week on Tucson's south side has been identified, authorities say.
Robert Brewer was pushing a shopping cart south across East Ajo Way near South Palo Verde Road about 5:30 a.m. Friday when he was struck by a westbound 2015 Dodge Dart, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
Brewer was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge was not injured.
The crash is still being investigated.
