Traffic snarled on Tucson's north side after fatal crash

Tucson drivers are urged to avoid the area near Brandi Fenton Memorial Park for the next few hours as authorities investigate a fatal vehicle crash.

Traffic could be tied up until 5 or 6 p.m. in the wake of the collision that killed one of the two drivers involved, Pima County Sheriff’s Deputy James Allerton said.

The wreck between a pickup truck and a sedan occurred around 1 p.m. today near the intersection of North Alvernon Way and North Dodge Boulevard.
