One man was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night on Tucson's northeast side, police said.

North Catalina Highway and East Tanque Vered Road are shut down, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

The crash occurred about 7 p.m. and the road closures are expected for the next several hours, Dugan said.
