A person was struck and killed by a train in Tucson on Thursday evening after trespassing on Union Pacific Property, authorities said.
Union Pacific representatives said the collision occurred about 6:15 p.m. near West Grant Road and Interstate 10, Union Pacific said. The unidentified person died on the scene.
Support is being offered to the train crew, who witnessed the incident. No crew members were injured.
