A 67-year-old cyclist has died days after he was struck by a pickup truck while riding on Tucson's southeast side, police said.
The crash happened about 3 p.m. Dec. 5 while Timothy Frank McClure was riding in the westbound bike lane in the 9400 block of East Irvington Road, near south Harrison Road, Tucson police said in a news release.
McClure was struck when police say he turned suddenly in front of a white Toyota Tacoma traveling in the same direction, the release said.
The Toyota driver stayed at the crash scene and cooperated with police, the release said.
Investigators were notified Dec. 12 that McClure had died.
