Sheriff's detectives are asking for public assistance in identifying three suspects in an armed robbery of a Circle K on Tucson's northside Feb. 17.

Deputies responded at 4:30 a.m. to the store on 4395 North Romero Road after a report of an armed robbery. They learned two male suspects and a female suspect had fled the area.

When the suspects entered the store, a male suspect walked behind the counter and took cigarettes. Meanwhile, the second male, armed with a holstered handgun, tried to distract the store clerk.

The three then left in a 2013 or 2014Β silver Nissan Altima, a department news release said.

The department described the first male suspect as Caucasian, approximately 5-feet-8 inches tall with shoulder length curly brown hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black shirt with yellow logo and gloves.

The second male was described as a Hispanic or Caucasian male in his 30's, about 5-feet-10 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Detectives described the female as Caucasian or Hispanic in her 30's, approximately 5-feet-5 inches tall and last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. Anonymous tips can be sent to 88-CRIME for a possible reward.
