The United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona is offering free assistance with tax preparations through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
The services are available to individual and families earning up to $64,000. IRS certified VITA volunteers will help taxpayers access all tax credits they are eligible for, including the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit.
VITA services are available at several sites around Tucson and some are open starting this week.
