A bicyclist died Friday night after a crash with a motorist on Tucson's southeast side.
The crash occurred on East Valencia Road and South Nexus Drive, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman in a tweet.
The intersection will remain closed possibly into early Saturday morning, Dugan said.
Tucson Fire Department paramedics took the bicyclist to a hospital where he later died.Β
No further information was released.
