A fatal two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 Tuesday closed traffic heading toward New Mexico, officials say.
The crash happened about 7:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10, near milepost 354 just before Bowie, the Arizona Department of Transportation said in a post to their official X account.
The crash between Wilcox and Bowie resulted in a death, the ArizonaΒ Department of Public Safety said.
About noon, the agency said in anΒ update to XΒ thatΒ it expected to the lane closure to last into the afternoon.Β
Details of the crash were not immediately available Tuesday afternoon.
