A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting this summer at a south-side parking lot, Tucson police say.
Ramon Antonio Salcido was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in the June 22 killing of Jacob Dean Stark, 30, the Tucson police said Tuesday in a news release.
Salcido was already being held at the Pima County jail on an unrelated charge. He was formally charged in Stark's killing on Oct. 6, officials said.
Salcido's bond was set at $1 million.
Stark was shot on June 22 in an alley in the 3700 block of South Park Avenue, police have said. Stark and a friend were approached by a man who shot Stark then ran away, according to initial reports.
Stark died at a hospital after the shooting.
