A second person has been arrested on suspicion of murder in the fatal shooting of a man on the city’s south side on Sunday, Tucson police say.
Manny Romero Jr., 31, was arrested and booked into the Pima County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder and first-degree burglary in the killing of Fernando Issac Pablos, 33. Bond was set at $1 million, police said in a news release.
Ambar Esthela Morales, 33, was arrested previously and jailed on identical charges, police have said.
Pablos was found shot about 11 a.m. Sunday at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of East Milton Road, near South Park Avenue and East Drexel Road, a news release said. He died at the scene, police said.
Neither a motive nor details about the shooting have been released by police. The investigation continues.
