An arrest has been made in the September killing of a 34-year-old Tucson man found wounded inside a crashed vehicle.
Marcus Anthony Javier was found in the crashed car about 12:30 a.m. Sept. 4, when deputies responded to a reported crash in the 3200 block of East Wyatt Street, near East Drexel and South Country Club roads, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said Thursday in a news release. He died later at the hospital.
Arnulfo Ebeneser Mendoza, 30, was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of first-degree murder and drive-by shooting, the release said.
Mendoza was being held at the Pima County Jail without bond.
