A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting Monday afternoon south of Tucson, authorities said.
Randy Shultz, 59, was found about 3:30 p.m. shot outside his house in the 9700 block of South Nogales Highway, south of West Valencia Road, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release. He died at the scene.
Eduardo Bustamante, 41, "was quickly identified as a suspect," the release said.
Bustamante was booked into the Pima County jail in suspicion of first-degree murder, one count of aggravated assault and having a firearm while being a prohibited possessor, the release said.
No motive for the shooting was given.
The investigation continues.
