Three people have been arrested in connection with a recent break-in at a Walmart store in Sahuarita, authorities say.

On July 24, officers went to the store at Interstate-19 and Duval Mine Road for a reported burglary. Burglars forced their way through a locked door at night, gated items from the shelves and fled in a wing car, a news release from the Sahuarita Police Department says.

A search of a residence in Sahuarita and a second at a house outside the town resulted in the recovery of several stolen items. Police also seized burglary tools, drugs and drug paraphernalia, the release said.

Police arrested Gesse La Bistre, 48, Jeffery Wayne Cox, 32, and Linda Marie Ochoa, 38, the release said. They were booked into the Pima County jail on suspicion of charges that include organized retail theft, burglary, trafficking in stolen property and shoplifting, the release said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the department at 520-351-4900 or its tip line at 520-445-7847.
