A bicyclist severely injured in a hit-and-run crash late last month has died, Tucson police say.
Daniel Adam Vann, 39, was struck about 1 a.m. Jan. 27, as he rode west in the 5800 block of East Grant Road, east of North Craycroft Road, Tucson police said in a news release Monday.
The driver fled.
Police learned Sunday that Vann had died in the hospital from injuries sustained un the crash, the release said.
Vann was riding near the curb when he was struck from behind. A passerby found him on the road and called 911, the release said.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME, the anonymous tips line.
