A 46-year-old Tucson man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing and distributing child pornography, Tucson police say.
Brian Edward Perdue was arrested at his home on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and โseveral felony sex-offender registry offensesโ after he allegedly distributed more than 200 images of child pornography on the internet, the Tucson police said Tuesday in a news release Tuesday. Perdue was recently granted early release from prison in connection with a child sex crime, the news release said.
On Sept. 13, the TPD Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was alerted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a person in Tucson uploaded images of child sexual abuse material, the release said.
On Sept. 27, police along with state and federal law enforcement officers arrested Perdue at his home which according to the sex offender registryย is near East Golf Links and South Pantano roads. Detectives say they found more than โ600 images of child sexual abuse materialโ on devices hidden throughout the home, according to the news release.
Perdue had been released from prison early after being convicted of child sex crimes, the release said.
