Three bicyclists were injured Saturday morning, after being struck by a car on a Marana frontage road.

Shortly after 10 a.m., Northwest Fire District responded to the east side of the westbound I-10 frontage road between the Tangerine and Marana exits, for reports of a car crash involving bicyclists, said Capt. Brian Keeley, a department spokesman.

All three bicyclists suffered minor injuries and two were taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

The third bicyclist declined being taken to the hospital, Keeley said.

Marana police are investigating the crash.
