A woman committed suicide inside a Chase Bank branch on Tucson's southwest side Friday, authorities said.
The woman shot herself about 3:20 Friday afternoon inside the Chase branch at 2920 West Valencia Road, near South Cardinal Road, said Deputy Ryan Inglett, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman.
The woman was declared dead at the scene. The bank was evacuated and closed.
No further information was released.
