The second suspect in a fatal beating at Venom nightclub turned himself in to Tucson police Wednesday, a day after another suspect surrendered to authorities.

Frederic Stephen Bayles, 23, was taken into custody on a felony warrant for manslaughter and booked into the Pima County jail, said Sgt. Kimberly Bay, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman.

Bayles is being held on a $100,000 bond, jail records show.

Davaress Davon Bolden, 33, was arrested by Phoenix police and transported to the Pima County jail.

The victim was identified as Tommy Hook, 64, said Bay.

About 1 a.m. Sunday, police and Tucson Fire Department paramedics responded to Venom nightclub at 1104 S. Craycroft Road. The adult entertainment club is north of East 22nd Street.

Paramedics found Hook inside the restroom suffering from life-threatening injuries and took him to Banner-University Medical Center Tucson where he later was pronounced deceased, Bay said.

Gang investigation unit detectives found out that Hook was assaulted by two men and left unconscious. The two men left the restroom and fled on motorcycles, said Bay.
