Smoothie and Italian ice shops team up to open new shops in Tucson

A dual concept shop with Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is planning two Tucson locations.

One store will be at the site of the former Eegee’s at 2470 N. Campbell Ave., north of Grant Road.

Jeramy Price, of Volk Co., represented the tenant, FroggyAZIce3 LLC, in the lease of 2,760 square feet from Lee Family Property Management LLP. David Lee, of David Lee Real Estate Co., represented the landlord.

The second location will be at 4676 E. Grant Road, formerly a Dunkin’ Donuts near Swan Road. Rick Borane, of Volk Co., handled the $1.7 million sale between RAM Holdings LLC and KJE Steampump LLC for the 19,122 square feet of land and building.

Jeremiah’s has a shop at 7348 N. Oracle Road. Tropical Smoothie has three locations, 10230 E. Old Vail Road, 3200 E. Valencia Road and 7040 E. Broadway.

Jeramy Price of VOLK Company represented R.D.S. Inc. in the purchase of 101,564 square feet of land at 8750 E. Golf Links Road from Lewis Family Golf Links LLC for $1.5 million. The new owner will be developing the land into a self-storage facility.

Arya’s Kitchen LLC bought a 1.5-acre parcel in the Southpointe Industrial Park, on the northwest corner of Valencia and Kolb roads, for $489,365. The seller, Valencia Southpointe Partners LLC, was represented by Isaac Figueroa, with Larsen Baker.

Artisan Design Group Investments LLC leased 33,311 square feet of industrial space at Tucson Airport Distribution Center, 6855 S. Lisa Frank Ave., from Schnitzer Properties LLC. Jesse Blum and Alex Demeroutis, with Picor, represented the landlord. Robert Glaser, with Picor, and Beau Kaleel, with Cushman & Wakefield Houston, represented the tenant.

Rebecca Appliances LLC leased 4,354 square feet of retail space at 2854 E. 22nd St. from Mamie T. Wong. The shop will specialize in the repair and sale of refurbished appliances. Andy Seleznov, with Picor, represented both parties.

Yuan Spa Massage leased 1,250 square feet of retail space at 5921 E. 22nd St. from H.L.F. Properties Inc. Andy Seleznov, with Picor, represented the landlord and Cameron Casey, with Oxford Realty Advisors, represented the tenant.
