A new shop for customers interested in harvesting the rain is now open in central Tucson.
The Rain Store’s offerings include rainwater harvesting tanks, low-water irrigation systems, garden beds and native seeds.
The new location, at 3248 E. Grant Road, is a partnership with Thrive and Grow Gardens.
Along with retail offerings, The Rain Store will have educational information for customers about matters such as growing their own food.
It serves both do-it-yourself customers and professional water harvesters.
The Rain Store is open Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Tucson Port Credit LP sold 30,272 square feet of land at 3201 S. Park Ave. to Tucson-Park Take Five LLC for $880,000. The new owner plans to develop and operate a Take 5 Oil Change. Brenna Lacey, with Volk Co., represented the seller.
Riley Engineering LLC leased 5,967 square feet at 44 E. Broadway from 44 E Broadway LLC. Chris Tsighis and Victoria Lem, with Coldwell Banker, represented the tenant, and Patricia Schwabe, with Peach Properties, represented the landlord.
1Solar leased 5,250 square feet of industrial space at Park Avenue Industrial Center, 4700 S. Park Ave, from Ohio Street Building No. 2 Ltd. Robert Glaser, with Picor, represented the landlord. David Blanchette and Harry Law, with NAI Horizon, represented the tenant.
Lavender Fitness Center I LLC leased 2,800 square feet of space at 10165 E. Old Vail Road from KJE Steampump LLC. Aaron LaPrise, with Picor, represented the landlord. This is the second location for Lavender Fitness Center, which operates under the name BFT or Body Fit Training. It recently opened its first studio in Oro Valley. Joey Castillo, of Volk Co., represented the tenant.
Roberts Development Co. Inc. leased the 1,624-square-foot former Eegees shop at 1105 S. Craycroft Road to Andree Gutierrez and Jessica Oseguera, who plan to open La Michoacana: The Ice Cream Spot. This will be their second Tucson Location. Jeramy Price, with Volk Co., represented the landlord.
