Veterinary Emergency Group opened its first Tucson area hospital in Oro Valley on Nov. 27.

A national pet hospital and urgent care center has opened its first Tucson area location.

Veterinary Emergency Group opened in Oro Valley at 7080 N. Oracle Road on Nov. 27 with services such as surgeries, ultrasounds, X-rays and urgent care.

The hospital is open 24 hours a day, including holidays, and has an open floor plan so β€œpet parents” can watch what is happening and can stay with their pet during surgery, and even overnight.

β€œPet parents will feel a sigh of relief and comfort as they are greeted with a friendly smile, empathetic attitude and luxury comforts for them and their pet,” said David Bessler, founder and CEO.
