A new pet hospital and urgent care has opened in the Tucson area

A national pet hospital and urgent care center has opened its first Tucson area location.

Veterinary Emergency Group opened in Oro Valley at 7080 N. Oracle Road on Nov. 27 with services such as surgeries, ultrasounds, X-rays and urgent care.

The hospital is open 24 hours a day, including holidays, and has an open floor plan so “pet parents” can watch what is happening and can stay with their pet during surgery, and even overnight.

“Pet parents will feel a sigh of relief and comfort as they are greeted with a friendly smile, empathetic attitude and luxury comforts for them and their pet,” said David Bessler, founder and CEO.

Decibel will be occupying the Palm tree building, toward the east end of the project. Decibel will start brewing at Sol Block in the summer of 2024.
