Gyro Shack is opening a second Tucson location next year.
Construction is underway on the new location at The Bridges, on Park Avenue and Interstate 10, in front of Costco.
Its current location is at 5775 E. Broadway Blvd. and the new shop is expected to open in April.
Gyro Shack hopes to open more locations in the Tucson area and is looking for interested franchisees.
โOur food sells itself,โ said Seth Brink, president of Gyro Shack. โWe hope to continue to win the hearts of locals and snowbirds in these areas.โ
Based in Boise, Idaho, the chain offers gyros, Greek salads and rice bowls.
It began as a food truck and now has six locations in Idaho, one in New Mexico with another under construction and the two Tucson locations.

Green Mountain Health Care LLC leased 1,646 square feet at 1775 W. St. Maryโs Road from Tucson Mountain Medical Management Building Associates LLC. Dave Volk, of Volk Co., represented the landlord and Terry Lavery, of Realty Executives Arizona Territory, represented the tenant.
S&M Boba Jobs LLC leased 1,200 square feet at 9420 E. Golf Links Road from D and D Properties Group Management LLC. Andreas Castillo, Joey Castillo and Jeramy Price, with Volk Co., represented the landlord. Juan Pantoja, of Grimm Commercial, represented the tenant.
Banhdicted LLC, a Vietnamese food shop, leased 1,200 square feet at 6878 E. Sunrise Drive from EREP Ventana II LLC. Andreas Castillo, of Volk Co., represented the tenant and Dave Hammack, with Picor, represented the landlord.
